Honorable Dr. Harsh Vardhan roped in a large number of
people, social and philanthropic organizations to launch a 'polio
eradication movement' in October 1994.
Dr.
Harsh Vardhan has received the Rotary International's
'Polio
Eradication Champion Award' which was presented to him by the
Prime Minister of India Sh. Atal Behari Vajpayee on January 22,
2001 at New Delhi.
